I have transformed my passions, photography and engines, in a job, maybe the best job of the world.

The image has always been part of my life, memories are made by images: freezing the time in a shoot is emotion, it's to grasp a moment, it's life.
​
In 2003 I started professionally this adventure opening the first office of my agency in Noceto trying to understand what was behind an image, a smile, a look.
I have always thought there was another face behind what I saw, an other point of view, a soul that I colud shoot. It is from the world "soul" that my reseach begins.
One day a true friend of mine told me “If you don't know who you are, you can't know what you want, in this way you will never have what you need".
Kids on set gave me the first emotions; you had to wait for them, wait for their smiles, their looks, their tears, their runs. I remember two 40-day-old babies, deeply sleeping, I was thinking about how to photograph them, how to show their "new life". Nothing came to my mind until I began to observe them... seeing in their blissful sleep, smiles sweetness, perfection that only "Mother Nature" can create. Since then I have understood what the phrase meant: "Beauty lies in the eyes of those who know how to look".

For many years I have photographed children, teenagers, men, women, spouses, young and old, each of them has transmitted to me a part of their existence, of energy... a "perpetual motion". Like what is inside every person who has this passion.
The "ENGINES", this alchemy of engineering and technique that makes crowds cheer, people startle and transmit adrenaline. The latter is the "gasoline" of those who ride a motorbike, drive a car and anything that has horses to sell.
All this strength has always intrigued and passionate me and pushed me to enter this world, see it from within, talk to those who do it, listen to those who live it: stop the moment. I started with free practice for both motorcycles and cars at the Riccardo Paletti circuit in Varano (PR), where I was the official photographer for several years and where I grew up.
I was lucky enough to experience the years of the "Motoestate" made up of many people, many riders and a lot of passion, of Triumph Day, Asi Moto Show, Aci Csai, Peroni and much more. Here I started to understand what the "World of engines" was but the search had just begun.
Reading newspapers and magazines in the sector, I wanted to understand and “breathe” the publishing reality which is an integral and fundamental part of this world. So starting from a local newspaper "La Gazzetta di Parma", I began to photograph engines but also other sports such as football, volleyball, tennis, motocross, minibike, supermotard and kart, to get to magazines such as MotoSprint, InSella, Motociclismo, Superbike, AutoSprint, ending with on-line publications such as AutoMoto.it.
Then came the “dream of a lifetime” the GP, I still remember the “heart in my mouth” of the first start at Mugello “from within”, in one of the temples of world speed; the meeting with the riders I saw growing up on television, crazy crowds for Rossi, Stoner, Capirossi... The stellar Motorhomes, the paddock.
Shortly thereafter, the period of up and down from the airplanes around for a few circuits around the world with the SBK World Championship would begin.
When I had to leave for one of the World Ruonds, I had an adrenaline equal to that of a driver who had to race but this was what I wanted for "a lifetime", to live that world with which I grew up in front of televisions and which I have always wanted to do part.
Surely the best experience, which changed me as a man and as a professional, was the first SBK 2013 race in Australia, starting from the endless journey of 26 hours, passing through an 8-hour time zone, arriving at the Tests and race: 20 unforgettable days.
Throughout this process, we have moved our operational headquarters to the Cremona Circuit, a new circuit in the province of Cremona where we have created a truly full headquarters, starting to make videos, graphics and communication as well as photography.
I have always thought that Motorsport should be addressed in all its aspects, that is, starting from photographic and video images, arriving at the news and promotion.
But innovation and technology become more and more an integral part of this work also by changing points of view... Drones and flight.
I started to read up and think…. I became an ENAC recognized drone pilot of an octocopter that mounts Nikon D800: photos and videos with a different eye.

I think our strength lies in being able to work with all those who are part of the great family of "engines": from the true passion of free practice, to newspapers and magazines, to the big brands in the sector such as Ducati, MV, Pirelli, Porsche, Maserati, Seat and ending up in the GP and SBK Teams.
I have always had by my side a wonderful person, a perfect "partner", a life partner, a wife and a mother, Federica, without whom nothing of you have read, it would have been possible and achievable: Thank you!
